Divorce Without Court Services and Payments

Move forward in a positive way. Step-by-Step guidance. Neutral help.

Court Forms Filled Out - $250 to $700

If you want to handle your divorce yourself, but you're a little bit stuck, we can help you move forward with the help of the King County Facilitator's Office. Fill out our form here (coming soon) and in 24 hours we will email you a PDF of forms set up to match a Settlement Agreement/Separation Contract/CR2A (an agreement that details each of your financial and personal responsibilities in a divorce). You can write your own Settlement Agreement/Separation Contract/CR2A or fill out our form here (coming soon) and for another $450 we will send you a generic Separation Contract that you can modify on your own. This is NOT legal advice and we are NOT responsible for filing the court forms with the court. You will turn them in to the facilitators office on your own - either by email or in person - and you will still need to pay the $314 filing fee to the King County Courthouse. This service is only for people who live in the state of Washington. Anyone living in Washington can file in King County (just like anyone in the state can file in Lincoln or other counties). If one of you lives in Washington and of you moves out of state, you can still file in King County as long as at least one of you is still living here.

Questions answered - $399 an hour

If you have questions about financial assets, child support, visit schedules, division, transferring a house, splitting a business, spousal support, addiction questions related to your court paperwork, and other things relevant to an uncontested divorce, feel free to schedule a call for our hourly services here. Please have your question ready, and please be aware that some questions are better directed to a specific professional with expertise in that area. Lawyers are not generalists (good lawyers anyway). We only have expertise in our specific area - which for this office is an uncontested divorce in the state of Washington. Questions about allocating taxes should go to a CPA who knows the relevant federal rules (divorce is a state court process). Questions about ongoing conflict or anyone who is not keeping their agreements should be referred to a therapist or parent coordinator or other communications specialist. Questions about splitting retirement accounts should be referred to the plan administrator for the account (who has to follow federal laws and IRS regulations).
